The four strains in Power Mix Fast finish flowering between 43 and 53 days after the switch to 12/12, so you don't harvest them on one day but in four waves spread over ten. This guide shows how to grow fast flowering strains outdoors and indoors on that schedule: which strain comes down first, what to do with the space and light after each harvest, which one yields most and how they fit a short European summer.
Fast Flowering Is Not Autoflowering
Before the plan, one point that shapes the whole calendar. All four strains are feminised photoperiod plants: they don't flower on their own by age like an autoflower, but when you switch the light to 12/12 indoors or when the days shorten at the end of summer outdoors. The "fast" is a shorter bloom, not an automatic start. That means you decide when the count of flowering days begins, and that is exactly what makes a day-by-day harvest plan possible. For the full explanation, with the comparison table against autoflowers, see our guide to fast version seeds.
The Four Strains Side by Side
The figures come from each strain's spec sheet. The last column divides indoor yield by flowering days under LED: the fairest way to compare plants that don't finish at the same time.
| Strain | Bloom (LED) | THC | Indoor yield | g/m² per day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gorila Fast | 43 days | 25–27% | 400 g/m² | 9.3 |
| Galaxy Fast | 45 days | 20–22% | 550 g/m² | 12.2 |
| Tutankhamon Fast | 48 days | 26% | 550 g/m² | 11.5 |
| Kryptonite Fast | 53 days | 21–23% | 450 g/m² | 8.5 |
Gorila Fast: First to Finish
Gorila Fast opens the harvest run at 43 days of bloom under LED (51 under HPS). It's a balanced hybrid, 55% indica and 45% sativa, with 25–27% THC: the fastest strain in the group and one of the strongest. The aroma mixes citrus, pine, earthy notes and a sweet base, and the effect combines euphoria and relaxation with a clear head.
Its spec sheet rates it easy to grow and suitable for beginners. It yields up to 400 g/m² indoors, the lowest figure of the four, and 750 g to 1 kg per plant outdoors, with harvest in September in the northern hemisphere. In the plan below it's the plant that frees the first gap in the tent, so put it where you can lift it out without moving the others.
Buy Gorila FastGalaxy Fast: Highest Yield per Day
Galaxy Fast finishes at 45 days under LED (48 under HPS) and makes the most of every flowering day: 550 g/m² indoors, which works out at 12.2 g/m² per day, the best figure in the pack. It's indica-dominant, 70% indica and 30% sativa, with 20–22% THC and a sweet, earthy, spicy aroma with a hint of rain and mint.
The effect is physical but leaves the mind focused, the most daytime-friendly of the group. It grows fast and vigorously, forms dense, resin-coated flowers and responds well to SOG and SCROG. Difficulty is moderate: it needs a little more attention than Gorila, especially with humidity, because compact buds hold water. Outdoors it yields 0.5 to 1.5 kg per plant, and its spec sheet recommends it for short summers, with harvest in early autumn in the northern hemisphere and February–March in the southern.
Buy Galaxy FastTutankhamon Fast: Highest THC
Tutankhamon Fast finishes at 48 days under LED (53 under HPS) with the highest THC in the pack, 26%. It's the fast-flowering version of Tutankhamon, sativa-dominant at 60% sativa and 40% indica. The aroma is citrusy, fresh, fruity and spicy, and the effect cerebral, relaxing and meditative.
Despite its sativa side, the spec sheet rates it easy, and it ties with Galaxy on indoor yield: 550 g/m², 11.5 g/m² per day. Being more sativa, it stretches a little more after the switch to 12/12 than the first two, so leave some headroom. Outdoors it gives 0.5 to 1.5 kg per plant and is harvested in late September in the northern hemisphere and late March in the southern. If you want the strongest of the four without going to the longest bloom, this is the one.
Buy Tutankhamon FastKryptonite Fast: the Sativa That Closes the Run
Kryptonite Fast is the last to finish, at 53 days under LED (58 under HPS), and the most sativa of the group: 80% sativa and 20% indica, with 21–23% THC. The aroma has a sour haze profile with citrus, pine, earthy and spicy notes; the effect is cerebral, euphoric and uplifting, with a psychedelic edge.
It's a vigorous sativa, and its spec sheet recommends SCROG or LST to keep the height in check. Difficulty is moderate. Indoors it yields 450 g/m², 8.5 g/m² per day, the lowest daily figure in the pack, because it occupies the space longest. Outdoors it gives 500 g to 1.5 kg per plant, with harvest between late September and early October in the northern hemisphere. Even so, it finishes a week or more ahead of a standard photoperiod sativa.
Buy Kryptonite FastHarvest Plan: Four Strains in One Tent
The key to the pack is that you can switch the whole grow to 12/12 on the same day and harvest each strain at its peak, without waiting for the slowest or cutting the fastest too early. The gap between the first and the last is ten days, a window any tent absorbs without trouble.

Before 12/12: the Vegetative Stage
Because you decide when to switch the light, veg is the part of the plan you control most. Don't cut it too short: with a short bloom, the plant has less time to fill the structure it built beforehand with buds, so that structure has to be in place when you flip to 12/12. Bear in mind too that the four don't grow alike. Gorila and Galaxy, indica-dominant or balanced, stay more compact; Tutankhamon and especially Kryptonite stretch more after the light change. If your tent is low, flip a little earlier than you would with four indicas, or train the sativas with LST from veg onwards.
Before 12/12: Where Each Plant Goes
Place the plants with the harvest order in mind. Gorila and Galaxy, which finish first, go in the most accessible part of the tent, so you can lift them out without touching the others. Kryptonite, the most sativa and the one that stretches most, goes where you have the most headroom, or in the centre if your lamp spreads best there. Tutankhamon can sit next to Kryptonite: it stretches a bit as well, and the two finish last. If you're running a SCROG, put the net up before the light change.
Day 43: Harvest Gorila Fast
The first wave. Check the trichomes from week five of bloom: the date on the spec sheet is a guide, not an order. Taking Gorila out leaves a gap in the tent. Don't fill it with new plants: anything that goes in now gets 12/12 and starts flowering while still small. Use the space instead to spread the others out a little and improve airflow between the buds, which matters most on the home straight.
Day 45: Harvest Galaxy Fast
Two days later comes Galaxy, the one with the densest buds. This is the moment to bring the tent's humidity down if you can: with fewer plants inside, the climate is easier to control, and Tutankhamon and Kryptonite benefit from dry air in their last weeks. You also get staggered drying: Gorila has been hanging for two days when Galaxy joins it, so your drying space never fills up all at once.
Day 48: Harvest Tutankhamon Fast
The third wave. Only Kryptonite is left in the tent. If your lamp lets you adjust height or power, set it for that single plant: lower the lamp to the recommended distance for the remaining canopy rather than lighting empty space. Keep 12/12 unchanged until the end.
Day 53: Harvest Kryptonite Fast
The pack's sativa closes the run. Since the first harvest you've had ten days to prepare the next round: if you have a separate veg space, the new plants can be ready to go in as soon as Kryptonite comes out.
Look at the trichomes with a loupe, not just the calendar. Mostly milky trichomes with a little amber mark peak THC. The more amber you allow, the more THC converts into CBN and the heavier, more relaxing the effect becomes: the exact moment depends on what you're after.
Which Fast Flowering Strain Yields Most?
It depends on how you measure it. Per square metre, Galaxy Fast and Tutankhamon Fast tie at 550 g/m² indoors. But if you measure what each day of bloom delivers, which is what counts when you want more cycles a year, Galaxy Fast wins with 12.2 g/m² per day, followed by Tutankhamon at 11.5. Gorila Fast comes in at 9.3 g/m² per day: it yields less, but frees the space earlier than any other. Kryptonite Fast closes at 8.5, because it holds the tent five days longer than Gorila.
None of the four is a bad choice; they answer different priorities. For the most per cycle, Galaxy and Tutankhamon. To finish as early as possible, Gorila. If you prefer a clear sativa and accept a few extra days, Kryptonite. And if you'd rather not choose, the pack lets you compare all four in your own grow.
Fast Flowering Seeds Outdoors: Finish Before the Rain
Outdoors is where the short bloom really shows. All four are photoperiod plants, so they start flowering when the days shorten at the end of summer, like any standard feminised strain. What changes is the finish: they're done weeks ahead of a conventional photoperiod strain, and in a short British or northern European summer those weeks decide whether you harvest in dry weather or in the first autumn rain. A fast flowering strain comes down in September; a standard long-flowering photoperiod strain often runs into October, when the rain and the mould risk have already arrived.

According to their spec sheets, in the northern hemisphere Gorila Fast is harvested in September, Galaxy Fast in early autumn, Tutankhamon Fast in late September and Kryptonite Fast between late September and early October. In the southern hemisphere the equivalent is February–March. Outdoor yield ranges from 0.5 to 1.5 kg per plant depending on the strain, with Gorila Fast at 750 g to 1 kg.
The final weeks coincide with dew, damp and rain. Galaxy Fast, with its dense buds, needs the closest watching. Check the buds daily on the home straight and, if several days of rain are forecast, harvesting a little early is usually better than risking the whole plant.

Frequently asked questions
Which fast flowering strain yields the most?
Of the four strains in Power Mix Fast, Galaxy Fast yields the most per day of bloom: 550 g/m² indoors in 45 days under LED, about 12.2 g/m² per day. Tutankhamon Fast matches the 550 g/m² but takes 48 days.
Can you grow fast flowering strains outdoors, and when do you harvest?
Yes, all four can be grown outdoors and start flowering when the days shorten at the end of summer. In the northern hemisphere, Gorila Fast is harvested in September, Galaxy Fast in early autumn, Tutankhamon Fast in late September and Kryptonite Fast between late September and early October; in the southern hemisphere, around February–March.
Which finishes sooner, a fast flowering strain or an autoflower?
An autoflower completes the whole cycle sooner, because it has no separate vegetative stage: seed to harvest in about 9–11 weeks. A fast flowering strain has the shorter bloom, 43 to 53 days for these four, but you decide how long veg lasts, and the yield is usually higher.
Can you grow all four strains in the same tent?
Yes, you can switch all four to 12/12 on the same day. They finish within ten days of each other, from day 43 to day 53, so you harvest each one at its peak without waiting for the slowest.
How many seeds are in the Power Mix Fast pack?
The pack contains 12 feminised seeds: three each of Gorila Fast, Galaxy Fast, Tutankhamon Fast and Kryptonite Fast.
What is the highest yielding outdoor strain in the pack?
Galaxy Fast, Tutankhamon Fast and Kryptonite Fast can all reach up to 1.5 kg per plant outdoors, according to their spec sheets. Gorila Fast gives 750 g to 1 kg per plant but is the first to finish, in September.
