Welcome to the world of Cookies cannabis – a celebrated family of cannabis strains known for their high THC, rich terpene profiles, and sweet, dessert-like flavor profiles.
Inspired by genetics like Animal Cookies and Girl Scout Cookies, our collection includes high-performance strains such as Do-Si-Dos, Sunset Sherbet, and Tutankhamon x Cookies USA. These indica dominant hybrids are renowned for their intense flavor, high THC content, and appeal to seasoned growers and newcomers alike.
The Cookies family is the most influential American cannabis line of the last decade — born from OG Kush × Durban Poison and refined through generations of selection. Intense dessert aromas, THC levels up to 28% and frosty, resin-heavy buds make Cookies strains the benchmark for anyone seeking top-tier US genetics. Pyramid Seeds offers the complete collection of Cookies seeds — feminized, autoflowering and regular — all with germination guarantee, direct from the breeder.
Cookies strains are a family of cannabis genetics that originated from the famous Girl Scout Cookies (GSC) lineage. These hybrids are renowned for their sweet, dessert-like flavours and high THC content, typically delivering a balanced high that combines euphoria with deep relaxation — which is exactly why they top almost every best cookies strains list.
The Cookies movement began in the early 2010s in San Francisco, California. The original strain was bred by crossing OG Kush with Durban Poison, creating a hybrid that quickly gained cult status for its potent effects and unique flavour. As GSC grew in popularity, breeders developed new strains on the same backbone — Animal Cookies, Do-Si-Dos, Sunset Sherbet and Gelato — shaping the worldwide standard for premium cannabis genetics we know today.
Frosty buds, intense aromas and powerful highs — that is the promise of the Cookies family. THC content often exceeds 25%, delivering potent effects and a euphoric body-and-mind balance. Typical aromas range from vanilla, mint and spice to citrus and creamy sherbet, depending on the phenotype and parent genetics. Dense, trichome-coated flowers also make Cookies strains a first choice for extractions and resin production.

Goal: Cookies genetics with extra potency. Two premium Gold Line crosses combine proven Cookies profiles with extra power: Anubis × Sunset Sherbet (27% THC, creamy cake) and Tutankhamon × Cookies USA (27% THC, citrus mint).
The unmistakable dessert aroma of the Cookies family comes from a complex interplay of terpenes — aromatic compounds that shape not only smell and taste but also the effect. The Cookies line has some of the richest, most layered terpene profiles in the entire cannabis spectrum.
| Terpene | Typical aroma | Common in | Effect profile |
|---|---|---|---|
| Caryophyllene | Spicy, peppery, warm | Cookies USA, Do-Si-Dos | Body relaxation, anti-inflammatory |
| Limonene | Citrus, fresh, sweet | Gelato, Sunset Sherbet | Mood lift, euphoria |
| Linalool | Floral, creamy, slightly sweet | Gelato, Do-Si-Dos | Calming, relaxing |
| Myrcene | Earthy, musky | Cookies USA, Sunset Sherbet | Sedating, body relaxation |
| Terpinolene | Fresh, floral, herbal | Sunset Sherbet, Auto Gelato | Mildly uplifting, fresh profile |
The Cookies THC content of 22–28% combined with these terpenes explains the intense, long-lasting effect — the interplay of cannabinoids and terpenes (the entourage effect) makes Cookies strains about much more than THC alone. Learn more in our guide to terpenes and the entourage effect.
