Ginga Haze crosses two sativas from different continents. Amnesia Haze is the modern Haze par excellence, built on Jamaican, Thai and Hawaiian landraces, with its lemon, incense and spice profile and a euphoric effect that lasts for hours (all about it in our guide Amnesia Haze strain vs Amnesia Gold). Mango Vermelho brings the Brazilian side: an intense ripe-mango aroma, tropical vigour and that reddish expression (vermelho means “red”) in pistils and leaves at the end of flowering. The result is a fruity Haze, sweeter and slightly faster than the original Amnesia, without losing its cerebral flight. It belongs to our European seeds.
Between 21 and 25% THC depending on phenotype and the length of flowering: with a Haze, every extra week of ripening shows in potency and aromatic complexity. The effect is markedly cerebral, so the THC feels stronger than the number suggests. CBD is low (< 1%).
A two-layer aroma: on top, ripe mango and tropical fruit, sweet and juicy; underneath, the Amnesia with its lemon, incense and a spicy, earthy background. In flowering it gives off a penetrating, complex smell. On the palate it starts sweet and fruity, turns citrusy mid-draw and finishes spicy and incense-like, pure Haze.

Flowering takes 70–75 days (65 under LED). Yield is 450–500 g/m² under standard conditions and up to 800–850 g/1.5 m² with a 720 W LED. Like any good Haze it stretches two to three times its size after the switch to 12/12: flip early and always work with SCROG, topping or LST — see our guide to topping and pruning cannabis. Its long buds are less dense than an indica’s, which lowers the risk of mould; during the stretch it wants moderate EC and a good supply of magnesium. A carbon filter is a must.
Harvest from late October to early November in the northern hemisphere and from late April to early May in the southern hemisphere. 0.8–1.5 kg per plant in the ground. In warm climates with dry autumns, such as southern Spain or the Mediterranean coast, it grows large and yields very heavily. Where autumns are rainy or cold sets in early, it runs out of time to ripen: keep it for the south or a greenhouse.

It keeps the lemon, incense and cerebral high of Amnesia Haze, but adds mango and tropical fruit, reddish tones at the end of flowering and a slightly shorter flowering time.
A very cerebral, euphoric and creative effect, psychedelic in larger amounts and without body load. It is a daytime strain, not one for the night.
