Недавнее исследование показало, что на этикетках продуктов, содержащих каннабидиол (CBD) из конопли, часто встречается недостоверная информация, что вызывает обеспокоенность по поводу прозрачности и безопасности для потребителей. В рамках исследования были проанализированы 97 продуктов с CBD, включая средства по уходу за волосами, косметику, продукты питания, напитки и съедобные товары, приобретённые в 2020 году в розничных магазинах и онлайн в штате Мэриленд.

Исследователи использовали метод газовой хроматографии-масс-спектрометрии (ГХ-МС) для измерения фактической концентрации каннабиноидов в каждом продукте и сравнили эти данные с указанными на этикетках. Результаты оказались тревожными: большинство протестированных продуктов содержали недостоверную информацию о содержании CBD.

Из 71 продукта, на этикетках которых была указана конкретная общая доза CBD, почти половина (49%) содержала больше CBD, чем было заявлено, в то время как 38% содержали меньше. Лишь около 13% продуктов были точно маркированы, с содержанием CBD в пределах ±10% от заявленного. Особенно тревожно, что 10 продуктов не содержали вообще никакого CBD, несмотря на заявления на этикетке.

Дальнейший анализ показал значительные отклонения в содержании CBD в разных категориях продуктов. Например, продукты по уходу за волосами показали среднее отклонение в -53%, причём некоторые из них вообще не содержали CBD. Косметика имела среднее отклонение в +18%, при этом один продукт превышал заявленное количество более чем на 1000%. Продукты питания и напитки оказались ближе к заявленным уровням CBD, со средним отклонением всего в -1%, хотя некоторые из них показали экстремальные колебания от -100% до +4468%.

Интересно, что исследование также показало, что точность содержания CBD не сильно различалась между продуктами, утверждающими о тестировании третьими сторонами, и теми, у которых таких утверждений не было. Кроме того, многие продукты содержали терапевтические заявления или продвигались как безопасные и полезные для здоровья, но лишь около трети имели предупреждения о том, что эти заявления не были оценены FDA.

Исследователи подчеркнули необходимость более строгого государственного регулирования продуктов, содержащих каннабиноиды, чтобы обеспечить контроль качества и защитить потребителей от вводящих в заблуждение или необоснованных заявлений о пользе для здоровья.
