The other parent is a **landrace** — a genetic line that has never been worked commercially and has adapted to its native climate over generations — which brings hybrid vigour, hardiness and a sativa freshness that lifts the profile. The cross keeps the unmistakable sweetness of Blueberry and adds structure and a brighter effect. It belongs to our American strains and our hybrid seeds. ## Bossa Blue THC: 20–24% Between **20 and 24% THC**, above the original Blueberry thanks to selection on the cross. It has one of the most balanced effects in our range: potent but friendly, without the hard knock of modern indicas. CBD is low (< 1%). ## Bossa Blue effects - **Cheerful onset**: an instant good mood and a light head. - **Gradual relaxation**: the body loosens up little by little, with no sudden heaviness. - **No couch-lock**: the landrace side keeps the head clear. - **For the end of the day**: comfortable for quiet evenings and weekends. - **Long and steady**: a long effect with no sudden comedown. ## Aroma and flavour: what Bossa Blue tastes like A dessert profile: **blueberry and forest fruits** from start to finish, with a sweet, slightly floral background and a touch of fresh **pine** from the landrace. In flowering the plant smells like berry jam. On the palate it is sweet and fruity, with a smooth, floral, clean exhale. ## Terpene profile Terpene | Typical impressions | Contribution to the profile **Myrcene** | Fruity, sweet, earthy | The ripe-fruit base and the relaxing side **Pinene** | Pine, fresh, resinous | The freshness and clarity — the landrace inheritance **Linalool** | Floral, lavender, soft | The floral note of Blueberry ## Growing Bossa Blue: indoor and outdoor ### Indoor Flowering takes **65–70 days** (60 under LED). Yield is **450–500 g/m²** under standard conditions and up to **750–800 g/1.5 m²** with a 720 W LED. Medium height, branchy and easy to manage: it responds well to topping and lower pruning, with no special demands. Thanks to its hybrid vigour it is one of the most rewarding strains for growers with little experience. To bring out the most blue-violet colour, lower the night temperature by a few degrees in the last two weeks. ### Outdoor Harvest from **mid to late October** in the northern hemisphere and from mid to late April in the southern hemisphere. **0.6–1.2 kg per plant** in the ground. This is where the landrace shows: vigour and hardiness make it a good choice for outdoor grows with little supervision. Cool autumn nights bring out its blue tones. ## Bossa Blue vs Blue Pyramid | Bossa Blue | Blue Pyramid **Genetics** | Blueberry × landrace | Blueberry × Shishkaberry **Genotype** | 55% indica (hybrid) | 80% indica **Effect** | Cheerful and relaxing, no couch-lock | A more pronounced indica effect **Availability** | New 2026, available now | Available now If you want a Blueberry indica, choose Blue Pyramid; Bossa Blue is more balanced and easier to grow.
